Dr. R. Edward Coleman of Duke University School of Medicine to Join Management for Trofex™ Clinical Update
Cambridge, MA, July 30, 2008 – Molecular Insight Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: MIPI) announced today that it will release its second quarter 2008 financial results before the opening of the stock market and will hold a conference call on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time. During the call, senior management of Molecular Insight will review the Company’s financial results and provide an update on its clinical development programs.
Dr. R. Edward Coleman, the Lead Investigator for the Phase 1 Trofex™ trial, will join the Molecular Insight team for a discussion of metastatic prostate cancer and related clinical programs. Molecular Insight is developing Trofex for the detection of metastatic prostate cancer and recently initiated a Phase 1 dosimetry trial. Dr. Coleman is a Professor and Vice Chairman of the Department of Radiology and Director of Nuclear Medicine at the Duke University Medical Center and is board-certified in Nuclear Medicine and Internal Medicine. His research has been published in more than 400 scientific papers in several leading journals and he has published several textbooks related to nuclear medicine. Dr. Coleman is on the editorial board of several top medical journals, including The Journal of Nuclear Medicine, Radiology and Academic Radiology.
