Dr. R. Edward Coleman of Duke University School of Medicine to Join Management for Clinical Update
Cambridge, MA, May 9, 2007 – Molecular Insight Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: MIPI) announced today that it will release its first quarter 2007 financial results before the opening of the stock market and hold a conference call on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at 10:00 AM EDT. During the call, senior management of Molecular Insight will review the company’s financial results and provide an update on its clinical development programs.
Dr. R. Edward Coleman, the Principal Investigator for the Phase 1/2 trial of Azedra™, will join the Molecular Insight team for a discussion of neuroendocrine tumors and related clinical programs. Azedra is one of the company’s lead targeted radiotherapeutic candidates for neuroendocrine cancers. Dr. Coleman is a Professor of Radiology and Director of the Division of Nuclear Medicine at the Duke University School of Medicine and is board-certified in Nuclear Medicine and Internal Medicine. His research has been published in more than 400 scientific papers in several leading journals and he has published several textbooks related to nuclear medicine. Dr. Coleman is on the editorial board of several top medical journals, including The Journal of Nuclear Medicine, Radiology and Academic Radiology.
