Molecular Insight is a clinical stage specialty pharmaceutical company focused on critical unmet diagnostic and therapeutic needs of the prostate cancer patient.

The Company is developing a novel, proprietary, small-molecule chemistry platform to significantly impact the care of men with prostate cancer by: identifying the extent and location of the cancer’s spread in patients with metastatic disease; monitoring the effectiveness of chemotherapy or radiation therapy by tracking individual metastatic lesions; delivering a novel targeted systemic radiotherapy selectively to prostate tumors while sparing normal tissues.

The Company is advancing its proprietary platform technology with two separate, but related, products: a clinical-stage molecular imaging agent, technetium Tc 99m trofolastat, for patients with metastatic prostate cancer that is being used in a multi-center international Phase 2 efficacy study; and a prostate cancer therapy, ¹³¹I-MIP-1095, for systemic delivery of radiotherapy that is planned to initiate a Phase 1 dose escalation study in 2013.
