Cambridge, MA, Friday, November 07, 2008 - Molecular Insight Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: MIPI) announced today that it will present results from a prospective analysis of Phase 2b data (BP-21) for its lead molecular imaging radiopharmaceutical candidate, Zemiva, as a poster at the 2008 Scientific Sessions of the American Heart Association in New Orleans, La. The analysis is part of the Company’s program to develop Zemiva for the detection of cardiac ischemia, or insufficient blood flow to the heart, in the emergency department setting. Zemiva is also currently undergoing the first of two planned pivotal registration trials (BP-23), of which top-line results are expected by year-end 2008. The poster details are as follows:
